Our control arms are built from 7075 solid aluminum stock and are 1-3/4" in diameter. Each end is drilled and tapped for 1"-14 thread with LH & RH threads for easy adjustment. Both ends of the tubes will have wrench flats making it easy to quickly loosen the jam nuts before adjustment. All aluminum tubes will also bare the OCD logo on one end. Aluminum tubes will come mill finish to give our customers an option to anodize or polish.
We've paired our 7075 aluminum tubes with the best joints available. When quality, reliability, and durability matter you go with the best. Our joints were designed and built by Summit Machine, and their Flex Joints have proven to be the best available over time! The billet housing is zinc plated after being beautifully machined to add rust and corrosion protection. Machined with precision and exacting standards with threads complying with ANSI standards. Races are machined from an engineered plastic complete with grease grooves in the race concavity. These grooves keep grease surrounding the ball and ensure they are nice and quiet. No more squeaky heims! Center pivot ball is machined from mild steel with a smooth nickel plating for even wear with races and added rust prevention. The flat washer and machined threaded retaining ring are yellow zinc plated for corrosion resistance.
**Our lower control arms also come with an optional e-brake clamp that'll allow you to attach your OEM e-brake bracket to the control arm. No more zip ties or loose cables. These are machined from the same 7075 aluminum that our link tubes are, and come with stainless hardware. E-brake clamps are only available for 03+ 4runner, FJ Cruiser, and GX's.**
