Front Sway Bar Relocate Kits
- A few left in stock!
Why do you need a sway bar relocation kit?
A sway bar relocation kit is used to reposition your vehicle’s sway bar (also called an anti-roll bar) to prevent interference with suspension components—especially after modifications. Here's why you might need one:
1. Suspension Lift or Leveling Kit
-
When you lift your vehicle (even 1–2 inches), the geometry of the suspension changes.
-
The sway bar may contact the coil springs, shocks, control arms, or even the frame.
-
A relocation kit repositions the sway bar so it clears those parts.
2. Upgraded or Longer Suspension Components
-
Installing long-travel shocks, coilovers, or aftermarket control arms can change how the sway bar interacts with your suspension.
-
Relocating the sway bar ensures full suspension articulation without binding.
3. KDSS or Electronic Systems
-
For vehicles with Toyota's KDSS (Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System) or similar, sway bar placement is even more critical.
-
Some lifts require KDSS-specific relocation spacers or brackets to maintain factory function. KDSS specific kits can be found here.
Benefits:
-
Prevents clunking, rubbing, or premature wear.
-
Allows your suspension to work as intended after modification.
-
Retains or improves on-road handling by keeping sway bar geometry correct.
If you're modifying your rig for off-road use or comfort, a sway bar relocation kit is a small but essential add-on to keep things working smoothly. Let me know your setup (vehicle model, lift size, etc.) and I can confirm if it’s necessary for you.
